Nilüfer Yanya and Martha Hill are set to play a special ReBalance event in London this March.
The event has been organised to celebrate International Women’s Day, and it will take control of North London’s beautiful Union Chapel.
During the day people will be able to meet industry professionals, a chance for young women to learn more, and explore a potential career.
In the evening, Nilüfer Yanya will headline at the stunning church venue, joined by Martha Hill and fast-rising Scottish talent Tamzene.
ReBalance launched in 2017, designed as a three year partnership to support female and female identifying artists.
Offering five days studio time to a selected artist, there have so far been more than 300 nominations across six rounds, resulting in 19 finalists, who have also been able to perform at The Great Escape, Wireless, Latitude, and more.
The ReBalance team said:
“We are incredibly proud of what ReBalance has achieved, so it only made sense to take the scheme further by hosting an event on International Women’s Day for those who want to meet women in the industry. Aimed at newcomers or if you’re just curious, this event is the chance to learn from the brightest stars and pick up some tips. Lack of female representation in music is an industry wide issue, and we want to level it.”
ReBalance Celebrates International’s Womens Day takes place on March 3rd.
