New York rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie shocked fans this week when he revealed on his Instagram Story he’s no longer in a relationship with longtime girlfriend Ella Bandz.
A Boogie sent Bandz off with an emotional message that read, “As much as I don’t wanna admit it, I don’t deserve you @slaybyella_, You have a beautiful long life ahead of you and I don’t wanna be the reason you’re not happy Be free – go be what you truly want to be.”
Bandz caught the wind of the message and responded in her Instagram Story claiming he was exaggerating.
“Lmao we already talked about this in real life & it was my idea Idk why he coming on Instagram with it like he setting me freeboy go to hell,” she wrote.

Bandz later took to her Twitter to explain her stance on the break-up.
“One thing I hate is when people view me as something that I’m the complete opposite of,” she wrote. “One thing a n-gga can never stop me from is having a voice! I’m gon always say how I feel whether u like it or not.”

Fans started to speculate there was trouble in paradise when Bandz tweeted last month her desire to be treated the right way.
“Treat me right, I do the same,” she tweeted. “I’m just ready to be single at this point.”
The relationship between A Boogie and Bandz hasn’t been an easy one. The longtime couple, who also have two children, dealt with allegations that A Boogie cheated in January. They always managed to work things out, but it seems like that won’t be happening this time around.
However, Bandz made sure to let fans know the break-up was not because of A Boogie being unfaithful.
“@ArtistHBTL is a good person,” she wrote in another tweet. “He’s been good to me & I’m thankful for everything you’ve ever done for me. This has nothing to do with cheating, he’s changed a lot for me and put in a lot of effort for us to be together. We just don’t see eye to eye anymore.”

The couple appeared to be happier last December when Bandz celebrated A Boogie’s birthday, which was ruined by his arrest at his own party. The Artist 2.0 rapper took to his Instagram Story to show fans the gift Bandz had waiting for him.
Inside a blue and white Dior drawstring bag was a card, something wrapped in tissue paper and a nice stack of $100 bills.
