DaBaby has been on a remarkable run since he broke onto the scene in 2019 with his debut album Baby On Baby. Since then, the Charlotte native has two No. 1 albums, several multi-platinum plaques, and six Grammy nominations. DaBaby doesn’t seem to be slowing down either as he’s been hard at work on his upcoming album he deems a “classic.”
DaBaby’s popularity continues to rise, and now he’s getting co-signs from Hip Hop legends. On Friday (July 16), 50 Cent took to his Instagram to shout out to DaBaby, who also attended his Power Book III: Raising Kanan premiere party. In the pictures, fans can see 50, DaBaby, NLE Choppa, Joey Bada$$ and more dressed in vintage ’90s fashion.
“Raising kanan premier was so lit last night,” 50 wrote in the caption. “Everybody came through. @dababy is a problem,i gotta keep him from killing you ni66a’s. I don’t know why it’s funny, but he real wit da shit.”

DaBaby makes it loud and clear in his music he’s nobody to play with. Fans are hoping they get more of that when he drops his forthcoming album that he’s been calling a “classic.” He was recently in the studio with Cordae and Meek Mill, and he also said this album would give him another No.1 on the Billboard 200.
“This will be my third consecutive No. 1 album, you see what I’m saying?” DaBaby proclaimed. “So, all you dirty dog ass, dickriding, hating ass bitches, understand me, man. When this new one drop, I’m a politely let you muthafuckas get right back on this dick, n-gga… right back on this muthafuckin’ dick, n-gga, as soon as that new shit drop, ’cause I’m cut like that, n-gga.”
He continued, “I’m the best at doing what I do, so believe that, man. New album on the way, will be a No. 1 album. Will be No. 1 on Billboard again, all that pussy ass shit, see what I’m saying? You bitches be ready, man. Lace your shoes, man. It’s go time.”
