Summer Walker and SZA’s “No Love” received a second life on Friday (March 25) when their sultry collab invited Cardi B’s star power to the party for the “No Love (Extended Version).”
The trio celebrated their union with a dreamy visual, which currently sits at No. 7 on YouTube’s trending videos chart.
Cardi took a riskier approach tapping into her R&B side for her verse where she uses a softer tone and singing voice rather than her hard-hitting raps. The Bronx native gets emotional from the perspective of a woman who has been mistreated in a relationship and needs a break.
“Here I am, there you are, fallin’ out of love again/I don’t know just how to feel/It’s hard to meet you where you are/I needed some time apart/’Cause you been playing,” she coos.

Summer Walker sat down with Apple Music for an interview where she detailed the experience of working with Cardi B and how “surprised” she was at Cardi changing up her flow on the track.
“She is nice and talented,” Summer said of the Grammy Award-winner. “She surprised me because I didn’t think she was going to switch it up the way she did. She tried something new, but she blew my mind because it was really good. I just let her do what she wanted to do.”
Meanwhile, Cardi B continues to make history. Her 2018 Invasion of Privacy debut album became the first project to ever have every song on the LP be platinum-certified or higher.
