Jacquees is gearing up to unleash another studio album later this summer, which will feature appearances from 21 Savage, Chris Brown and Summer Walker.
Speaking to Rap-Up ahead of the untitled effort’s arrival, the self-proclaimed King of R&B detailed how he asked Future to executive-produce the project after randomly running into him at the studio, which Jacquees says was God’s doing.
“That was just God. God just put Future in the building,” he said of the interaction.
With Pluto on board, Jacquees has high expectations for the LP, which he is predicting will earn him his first platinum project under his belt.

“This gon’ be one of the ones… 4275, if that was my last album, I would be satisfied with that,” he admitted. “But this one, this the one. 4275 went gold, this one going platinum.”
As far as who to expect on the album, he’s reconnecting with R&B starlet Summer Walker, who he collaborated with on “Superstar” in 2019, 21 Savage and 6LACK. The Chris Brown-assisted “Put In Work” will be making the project as well.
“I sent [Summer] the song,” he explained. “She was like, ‘Oh, this hard. This sound like some of your old music.’ This one of the ones.”
Jacquees is excited for his fans to finally hear a collaboration he’s done with 21 Savage because that’s someone he’s known since he was 14. “I always feel like it’s crazy when we ain’t got songs with people from where we from,” he said.
Look for the album to arrive later into the summer. For now, watch part one of the interview below:
