Yung Miami has claimed her fellow City Girl cohort JT is the “Queen of Rap.”
The question was posed by Revolt on Twitter, and Yung Miami quickly responded to shout out JT.

Fans were of course skeptical of Miami’s claim, especially since Nicki Minaj is often categorized as the Queen of Rap. Her Young Money team claimed back in 2021 that the very term Queen of Rap didn’t even exist until Nicki came along.
“The title of “Queen of Rap” didn’t even exist until @NICKIMINAJ did the tingz that she did,” a tweet read from the Young Money twitter account. “And the Queen ain’t done yet. Get on ya knees.”

The declaration comes as JT has been a trending topic for the past few days, thanks to her “Good Love” dance challenge. JT announced the challenge with the hashtag #goodlovechallenge, named after the City Girls’ latest single with Usher. After nailing the new dance moves, she tagged Reginae Carter, Winne Harlow and, of course, Yung Miami to nominate them for the challenge.
The Miami duo’s latest single with Usher, “Good Love,” dropped on July 1 and arrived with a DAPS-directed music video, where Usher got to show off his roller skating abilities. The new single is off JT and Yung Miami’s highly anticipated third album, which was supposed to drop on July 29 but the duo was unfortunately forced to push it back at the last minute.
“The album was supposed to drop July 29, but it’s not dropping because we had some issues — not issues, but you know, when you dropping an album, you have to make sure everything is good,” Miami said on Instagram Live.
City Girls’ last album, 2020’s City On Lock, debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 and featured Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Lil Durk and Yo Gotti.
