On Friday (July 24), Big Draco uploaded a new video to Instagram showing a completely tattoo-free face – a stark contrast from the many small tats he previously sported. It’s not immediately clear whether he removed all of his ink or he covered them, but fans on social media have been praising him for the new look.

Soulja’s promise of a new leaf came on the heels of his early release from prison, where he’d served three months of his 240-day sentence for violating parole. In his quest for change, the “Crank That” rapper removed several friends who were living in his San Fernando Valley home and went into an eight-month social media hiatus. He returned in February to show off the fruits of his labor, but has remained relatively low since then.
Soulja’s manager Miami Mike revealed the Atlanta native also cut out lean and alcohol since his release, which resulted in a 50lb weight gain.

Along with his new look, Soulja also shared the pre-order link for a suprise project he plans to release on his birthday, July 28. King Soulja 9 will have 11 tracks and doesn’t appear to have any features, though it’s not out of the ordinary for features to remain hidden until the album is live.
King Soulja 9 is the ninth installment in Soulja’s long-standing King Soulja series, launched in 2014. His most recent release in the series arrived in January 2018.
