Marty Supreme, Josh Safdie’s much-hyped new film about a real life 1950s table tennis champion, is out today. Last week we got star Timothée Chalamet rapping about it on EsDeeKid’s viral hit “4 Raws,” and now longtime Safdie brothers collaborator Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) has shared the movie soundtrack.

The track “Force Of Life” features vocal layers from Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering and percussion from Edward Gordon, the multi-instrumentalist known as Laraaji. Chalamet revealed Weyes Blood’s participation last week, mispronouncing her name in a chat with his costar Gwyneth Paltrow. 0PN previously played on Weyes Blood’s 2022 single “God Turn Me Into A Flower.”

Marty Supreme also costars Tyler, The Creator (who is celebrating with a new freestyle today) but he’s not the only musician in the movie. In addition to unexpected cameos from magician Penn Jillette, writer Naomi Fry, Gristedes CEO John Catsimatidis, and many others, Gang Gang Dance singer Lizzi Bougatsos and rapper/producer Patrick “Wiki” Morales also briefly show up on screen. Bougatsos plays a pet store customer and Wiki appears in a scene at Herwald Lawrence’s table tennis club. (Vulture has a comprehensive list of all the cameos).

Chalamet recently scaled Las Vegas’ Sphere as a stunt to promote Marty Supreme. It’s been getting rave reviews, but electronic musician Marc Rebillet was not impressed.
