Scheduled for release on July 14th via Paradise X, the project promises to be a significant addition to her discography, featuring 11 tracks that delve deep into themes of motherhood, femininity, and personal grounding.
Known for her ability to weave intricate, digi-pop soundscapes with raw emotional vulnerability, Eartheater continues to push the boundaries of her craft. The upcoming record features a singular guest appearance from Oklou, ensuring the focus remains firmly on Drewchin’s unique artistic evolution.
To mark the announcement, Eartheater has shared the lead single, ‘Paradise Rains’. The track serves as a poignant introduction to the album’s narrative, reflecting on a deeply personal journey. “’Paradise Rains’ is a song about buying back my childhood farm after being estranged from it for 20 years,” she explains. “I conceived my baby the day we first stepped back on the property. So many memories, good and bad, were resuscitated being back, that then dissolved and got washed away by the showers of deep love with my new little family.”
In addition to the new music, Eartheater has confirmed a live performance at London’s KOKO on August 27th, part of a wider trans-Atlantic tour. Fans can look forward to the following tracklist:
