Cian Ducrot's 'Crocodiles' Is Something To Treasure

Posted by

Irish writer Cian Ducrot delves a little deeper than most.

Someone whose work dives into the intricacies of the everyday, he’s able to meld together whimsical brevity with deeply felt emotion.

New song ‘Crocodiles’ continues his rise, and it’s about learning to put yourself first, unplugging friendships that don’t work for you in the process.

Clash is able to premiere the full video for ‘Crocodiles’ and it delves into the heart of the matter, allowing the Irish artist to speak his truth.

He comments…

“Making the video for ‘Crocodiles’ was an opportunity to tell the story with more than words and to take it a step further in flipping the meaning of the line ‘how can you be friends with someone you don’t even know’ during the final scenes with the stranger. The whole video came to me one night when I couldn’t sleep and I just noted it all down as it was exactly how I wanted to tell the story.”
