The Blessed Madonna and Fatboy Slim are being lined up to play what could be the UK’s first proper dance event in 12 months.
The pandemic has crushed the clubbing landscape, leaving venues around the country unable to operate.
As part of a trial scheme, The First Dance is coming to Liverpool’s Circus on April 30th and May 1st, and it will see 6,000 clubbers across two nights at Bramley-Moore Dock event, partying with no social distancing or face coverings.
April 30th is headed up by Sven Vath, with the eclectic bill also making room for The Blessed Madonna, Jayda G, Yousef, Lauren Lo Sung, and Lewis Boardman.
The following evening finds Fatboy Slim headlining, joined by Yousef going B2B with a special guest, Hot Since 82, Jaguar, James, Organ, and more.
Ticket pre-sale opens today (Wednesday, April21st ) and general sale will go live tomorrow (Thursday, April 22nd) at 9am.
The First Dance takes place on April 30th and May 1st.
