San Francisco, Ca – Choosing a yearbook quote for your senior year of high school can be a challenging proposition. For 24kGoldn, he had his plans set in stone since his teenage days and decided to take the opportunity to plug his SoundCloud account.
Looking back following his early career success, 24kGoldn — born Golden Landis Von Jones — brought his high school yearbook photo back to his Twitter timeline.

The 20-year-old was actively involved in several student organizations in high school such as serving as treasurer of the Senior Prom Committee and Habitat for Humanity. He was also in the Black Student Union and Varsity Model UN.
24kGoldn dropped out of the University of Southern California after one year to fully pursue his music dreams. At 18 years old, he earned his first Hot 100 placement with “Valentino,” which is now certified platinum.

He then signed a record deal with Records Label, LLC and Columbia Records. In the summer of 2020, 24kGoldn exploded onto the mainstream scene with his infectious No. 1 hit “Mood” featuring Iann Dior.
The San Francisco native unleashed his debut album in March 2021 with El Dorado featuring assists from Future, Swae Lee and DaBaby.
