Los Angeles, Ca – Big Sean made his L.A. Leakers debut on Wednesday (October 20) with an impressive nine-minute freestyle and the decade-long wait for his trip to Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk’s radio show was more than worth it for fans of Sean Don.
With Hit-Boy by his side, Big Sean effortlessly rhymes and lane-switches over four different beats while puncturing Kanye West’s “Hurricane,” which he originally had a verse on, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy cut “All Love” featuring JAY-Z, Hov and Memphis Bleek’s “Dear Summer” and Nardo Wick’s scorching “Who Want Smoke??”

The Detroit native touches on being with Kobe Bryant for New Year’s less than a month prior to his death, NBA players being in his girlfriend Jhené Aiko’s DMs, penning hits for A-list artists who still haven’t paid him for publishing and more.
“A lot of songs I wrote for icons that I still ain’t even get publishing on/And some of them up more than me/I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing they wrong,” he raps.
In a salute to his longevity in Hip Hop, Big Sean references Kanye West signing his advance check before contractually bringing him into G.O.O.D. Music. In his 2013 The Breakfast Club interview, Kanye explained how he cut Sean a check before giving him any advice.
“Donda signed my advance check on God, that’s how long we been at this,” Sean Don proclaims.
