Cardi B Previews Ice Spice 'Munch' Freestyle But Downplays Official Remix

Cardi B has recorded a remix to Ice Spice’s hit single “Munch (Feelin U),” but it doesn’t look like it’ll be getting an official release anytime soon.

On Sunday (October 9), Cardi posted a video on Instagram containing a preview of her take on the popular drill record.

Her verse was accompanied by seductive footage of the Bronx bombshell modeling a skin-tight black dress inside her mansion and in the passenger seat of car.

“BITCHES IS DEAD TO ME THEN,AND THEY DEAD TO ME STILL,” she wrote in the caption.

Ice Spice caught wind of Cardi B’s “Munch” remix and excitedly shared the video on her Instagram Story along with the caption: “Bardiii.” However, Cardi ruled out jumping on the official remix.

“I’m not putting that song out by the way …You know I don’t tease …,” she tweeted. In response to a fan who asked why, she wrote: “I like it don’t love it ….just having fun.”

Last year, Ice Spice claimed Cardi B had reached out to her about a collaboration — months before “Munch” blew up. “Omg Cardi B just asked me to work wit her ?!” she tweeted. “Manifesting.”

The Invasion of Privacy hitmaker has been keeping a keen eye on Hip Hop’s next generation with rising Memphis rapper GloRilla also getting a Cardi co-sign. During an interview with Angie Martinez in July, Bardi crowned Glo’s breakout single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” song of the summer.

While reacting to the praise during an interview with On The Radar Radio later that month, the CMG signee recalled a “crazy” Instagram DM exchange she had with Cardi B.

“I had just got off the plane, my first time coming out here,” Glo began. “As soon I get off the plane, she hearted something because I used to always DM her all the time, I would blow her up.

“I don’t know what it was I sent her, but I know she hearted it, and I text her after she hearted it. She text me back, then she sent me the little voice message. I was like, ‘Ahhh Cardi!’”

Cardi B later quoted lyrics from GloRilla’s “Tomorrow” on Instagram while celebrating her 2018 strip club assault case outcome, before joining the breakthrough star on the song’s official remix.
