Tenured Hip Hop artist Rashad Smith dug in the crate over the holiday weekend and revealed he’s sitting on a major gem.
In a post on Sunday (December 27), the former Bad Boy producer – who’s worked with the likes of Aaliyah, Biggie, JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj and more – shared a quick look at some of his old tapes and one of them included a never-before-heard collab with rivals Lil Kim and Foxy Brown.
“@bandcamp Here I Come!,” he wrote with the pic. “Get Ready People 2021 Sessions,Beats Going Up! There’s Thousands More DAT Tapes Being Transferred. BTW: People Don’t Ask! Answer- NO.”

According to the picture, the track was recorded on June 1, 1997 and was named “Enjoy Yourself,” timestamped after the arrival of both of their debut albums. The late 1996 releases became a point of contention for the two, and it was reportedly over the fact they wore the same outfit in their album packaging. They were supposed to record their ill-fated collaborative album Thelma & Louise in ’97 as well, but the beef ended all talks of working together again.
In a 2011 interview with Vibe magazine, Foxy’s brother Gavin even said Lyor Cohen was ready to give both Foxy and Kim $500,000 each to come to the Hit Factory in Miami and record the album and they didn’t want to go. The tension was that real.
