Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon & Juice Wrld’s Legends Never Die Hit Big On Billboard 200

Although released a week apart, Pop Smoke and Juice World’s posthumous albums have a lot in common. Both projects highlighted talent that was taken away from family, friends and fans way too soon. Both projects also utilize all-star ensembles such as Quavo and Lil Baby for Pop and Polo G and Trippie Redd for Juice.

And both LP’s are slated to crown the Billboard 200 with incredible debuts.

Released on July 3, Pop’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon is estimated to earn nearly 200,000 equivalent album units and 200 million streams, affirming the Woo’s first No. 1 effort.

Even more good news for Pop’s family, LAPD made arrests in his murder investigation and they’re certain they nabbed the right suspects.

On the other hand, Juice’s Legends Never Die (which dropped on Friday, July 10) is doubling up on those numbers with an estimated 400,000 to 440,000 units and more than 400 million streams in its first week, cementing the road to 2020’s biggest album.

Eminem Doesn’t Bite His Tongue On Kid Cudi’s New Single

The Cudster has been making steady traction this year, having scored his first No. 1 record opposite Travis Scott and getting cast in Bill & Ted Face the Music, one of the most anticipated comedies of the year. However, it was his legendary co-star on the new single “The Adventures Of Moon Man & Slim Shady” who will go down as having the memorable moment here.

Despite having a much more subdued delivery than he’s known for (almost down to a lackadaisical draw), Eminem made sure to clear the cache on his current events calendar as he ripped Dree Brees, Donald Trump and his handling of the coronavirus catastrophe.

“Bunch of half-wits up in office/Half of us walking around like a zombie apocalypse/Other half are just pissed off and don’t wanna wear a mask/And they’re just scoffing/And that’s how you end catching the shit off ’em/I just used the same basket as you shopping/Now I’m in a fucking casket from you coughing,” he spits.

Stream the track below. It will appear on Cudi’s upcoming solo album on Republic Records.

Jada Pinkett & Will Smith Break All Things Internet By Confirming August Alsina Relationship

Taking to their universal Red Table Talk platform, Jada Pinkett and Will Smith set a Facebook Watch record while addressing the extramarital affair allegations brought forth by R&B star August Alsina, as he promoted his new album.

“Yes, it was a relationship … absolutely,” Jada told Will after initially calling the situation “an entanglement” (a term that has since caught on social media like wildfire). “I was in a lot of pain. I was very broken. Now, in the process of that relationship, I definitely realize that you can’t find happiness outside of yourself. … I would definitely say we did everything that we could to get away from each other, only to realize that that wasn’t possible.”

The Smiths broke their own Facebook Watch record by amassing more than 15 million views in the first 24 hours of airing. Watch it above.
