Megan Thee Stallion Says Her Label 'Hates' Her Following Leak: 'I Can’t Catch A Break'

Megan Thee Stallion has expressed her frustrations after experiencing a leak from within her camp.

On Thursday (August 4), the Houston Hottie vented about her label in an Instagram Story following the unspecified leak, accusing them of not having her best interests at heart.

“I can’t catch a break my label hate me and my shit always leak,” she wrote. “At this point invite the hotties to the studio and shoots.”

Megan then took her rant to Twitter, where she continued to air out her grievances. “Why continue to choose peace when everyone else choosing violence???,” she wrote. “Lol I got money I PAY FOR ALOT OF MY OWNNNN SHITTTTT I’ll start from scratch bc I’m a mf hustler BABYYYY.”

When one Twitter troll slid into her replies with a dismissive, “Wrdgaf [we really don’t give a fuck],” Megan clapped back with: “Bitch and I’m realllyyy not talking to your dumb ass now WHAT.”

While the leak clearly made her upset, the “Savage” rapper later bragged about being able to easily replace the leaked material with new music.

“Girl anyway lol,” she continued. “Why do ppl I don’t care abt even mention me lol like we don’t like EACH OTHERRRRR the feeling mutualllll stop saying my nameeeee. Lol I’m just talking shit.

“More shit my leak idk hotties lol idk but I really RAP so I can make MORE music any time… done with Twitter for the day.”

It’s unclear which leak Megan Thee Stallion is referring to, although the rumored cover of her new album surfaced online on Thursday. The alleged artwork shows three different profiles of the rapper in front of a black background.

Megan also wiped her Instagram page clean on Thursday with the exception of two posts, one of providing the definition of word “traumazine.” Some believe this could be the title of her new album, although that has yet to be confirmed.

As for her label frustrations, Megan Thee Stallion didn’t clarify which company her Instagram Story was aimed at. The 27-year-old is signed to both 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified Entertainment, but it’s crucial to note she’s currently in the middle of a messy legal battle with the latter and its owner Carl Crawford.

Megan has claimed Crawford hasn’t paid her a single dime since she joined the independent Houston label in 2018 and when she tried to leave, 1501 fought back. Megan has filed four lawsuits against the label, with the first one coming in March 2020, where she alleged they were trying to stop her from releasing new music.

The drama continued when Tina Snow released Something for Thee Hotties last October, which 1501 claimed didn’t meet the legal definition of an “album” and therefore didn’t count toward fulfilling her contract; Megan begged to differ.

The two sides are still duking it out in court. In the meantime, Megan Thee Stallion is currently prepping her long-awaited sophomore album, which she recently announced is finished. Last month, she dropped her latest single “Pressurelicious” featuring Future.
