One of the most creative and exciting artists out there, The President is constantly in search of alternative artistic paths while always remaining true to himself and to his values. He caught the listeners’ attention with his debut single “Google-ized by Google’s Eyes, (The No Internet Song),” in which he warned us of the excessive use of social media and the negative impact it had on our real social interactions.
His latest single is titled “Fly/Shine,” and sonically resembles the previous one, but with a much stronger emphasis on a form of rap he layers over electro-indie textures, merging worlds that at first glance, have nothing to do with each other. The potential power of music is such that this mixture of meticulously curated sounds and lyrics will reach a wide audience, and reinforce the President of Pop’s position as an exciting new artist in music.
