Paramus, NJ – Now that Tekashi 6ix9ine is officially off house arrest, the 24-year-old Brooklyn native is free to roam whenever he feels like it, but that doesn’t exactly mean he should.
Despite 6ix9ine’s reputation as a snitch, he appears unafraid of any potential retaliation by Nine Trey or any other gang — at least as long as he has protection. On Tuesday (August 4), the “TROLLZ” rapper headed to the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, New Jersey with an army of security.
As 6ix9ine made his way through the busy shopping structure, chaos erupted as people started chasing him. In one of the clips, it looks like 6ix9ine snaps at a shopper who’s laughing in his face.

According to a pair of tweets, 6ix9ine and his team began running at some point after someone allegedly attempted to pick a fight with him. A witness at the scene also said his security got aggressive.

Anytime 6ix9ine steps foot in public feels like a bold move. His testimony at the October 2019 trial of alleged Nine Trey members Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison helped convict both men and earned 6ix9ine the nickname “Snitch9ine.”
As a result, many of 6ix9ine’s peers have refused to associate with him and believe he’s a marked man. But since his April release from prison, 6ix9ine’s behavior has only grown more outrageous. He’s engaged in numerous e-beefs with everyone from Meek Mill to Snoop Dogg and continually blasts his haters for ever doubting he’d be a successful comeback story.
6ix9ine’s ego practically exploded after the “TROLLZ” single, his collaboration with Nicki Minaj, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“I can’t be stopped!” he shouted in an Instagram post. “You can’t blackball me!!!”
He added in the caption, “THEY TIRED SO HARD PUSHING SOMEONE ELSES SONG. LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT YA DID !!!! YOU CANT BLACKBALL MEEEEEE. IM TO BIG OF A STARRRRRRRRRRRR … OH ANNDDDDDDD ALL THE FANBASES THAT TEAMED UP TO PREVENT THIS NUMBER ONE I SAW THAT TOOOOO. DEBUT NUMBER 1 WITH NONE OF YOU!”

6ix9ine recently explained why he insisted on having security, citing XXXTENTACION, Pop Smoke and Nipsey Hussle as examples.
“What’s the problem with security?” he said. “Hip Hop does not like security, but Hip Hop loves Nipsey Hussle. Hip Hop loves Pop Smoke. Hip Hop loves XXX. What I mean by that — if you really love your favorite rapper, love security too, nigga. Cause [with] security, your favorite rapper would have been here today. You know X. X was my friend, nigga. And X told me, ‘Yo, get security.’”
