Radiohead have launched their own range of digital festive cards.
The specially designed range will be hosted on their Public Library archives site, and features a variety of festive messages.
The covers state quotes like ‘FA LA LA’, ‘LA-LA’, and ‘LAA’ while the inside boasts Radiohead-centric messages such as: ‘Everything is rosy’, ‘In lieu of emptiness’ and ‘Sunlit uplands still await’.
Pitchfork reports that guitarist Jonny Greenwood wrote to fans:
“Right now, I just feel this: I hope you are all safe and well and not too scared, or too bored… I also hope that somehow we can be part of making music for you soon, and that the pleasure of making music, and hearing music, whether in a gig, concert hall, church, or at home with friends – is not forgotten in this desolate year.”
Radiohead will not store any data put into a festive card. According to their archives site, Radiohead will not store any element of data put on the festive card.
