
The Mr. Bungle reunion has been in full swing since 2020. There have been some bumps, like when Mike Patton had to cancel for mental health reasons and when he tried to take out a drone at Knotfest Chile. But they’ve been having fun and even covering Grease songs. On Thursday, the band pleased audiences in Zapopan, Mexico by (partially) performing “Retrovertigo” for the first time since 2000.
At the Teatro Estudio Cavaret, the group played the track from their 1999 LP California. They also covered Rodrigo Amarante’s “Tuyo” and Sepultura’s “Refuse/Resist” for the first time. Watch them unearth some of “Retrovertigo” below.
