According to reports, the confrontation was sparked after another inmate allegedly made disparaging remarks toward the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. Sources close to the situation suggest that Combs held his own during the brief physical squabble before corrections officers intervened to de-escalate the situation. Following the incident, he was moved to a restricted housing unit, commonly referred to as “the hole.”
It remains unclear whether Combs has since been returned to the general prison population or if this disciplinary action will impact his projected release date of February 8, 2028.
