Remarkable Argentinian duo Cande y Paulo have shared the full video for their song ‘Tuyo’.
The pair – Cande Buasso and Paulo Carrizo – are driven forwards by an intense personal chemistry, one that pushes their songwriting to fresh levels.
With a Tiny Desk session going viral for its sheer virtuosity, Cande y Paulo will release their self-titled debut LP on June via Decca Records.
Album cut ‘Tuyo’ is a beautifully accomplished piece of songwriting, one that exudes character, and a willingness to connect.
The video for ‘Tuyo’ is a heartwarming experience, shot in their hometown of San Juan and utilising the rolling Argentinian countryside.
A wonderful encapsulation of their endless charms, ‘Tuyo’ resonates with a calming sense of inner peace.
The pair comment…
“We welcome you to our far away and peaceful home, to travel through its magnificent locations, semi-arid climate and desert landscapes.”
“From our grandparents through to theirs before them, and their journey to this land has created this unique Argentine experience that is such a strange yet ever present reality. It is something we share with all Central and South Americans and something we hope to honour in our version of this composition by Rodrigo Amarante. We hope you enjoy it!”
Tune in now.
