Bow Wow Admits He Didn't Need A Verzuz: 'I'm Only 34 & Y'all Can't Name 3 Of My Songs'

Bow Wow woke up to some Twitter shade on Monday (January 24) as people debated whether they could actually name three tracks by the So So Def prodigy.

The debate kicked off when someone posed the question: “Imagine a n-gga puts a gun to your head and tells you to name 3 bow wow songs.” As people started to share their thoughts, Bow Wow himself got wind of the conversation and shared his disappointment on Twitter.

“Damn I’m only 34 and y’all can’t name 3 of my songs,” he wrote. “I’m bout to start telling ppl I’m 56.”

The conversation came after the “Shortie Like Mine” rapper took to Instagram on Saturday (January 22) to share a video he recorded while stopping by Atlanta’s Magic City strip club to grab some grub. The video featured a young man gawking at the club’s talent.

“I go to Magic to get some food,” Bow Wow wrote in part. “And I see bro just SHOCKED. I mean JUST IN AWE… YUP this is what ATL can do to a young man.  He was ready to risk it all last night… hahahhahHhA WIPE THE DROOL OFF YA MOUTH BOY!! [Phone emoji] WIFEY AND TELLER ‘hey baby NOT COMING HOME. NOT JUST TONIGHT BUT FOREVER ITS OVER’.”

Bow Wow had captioned the video, “I was once him at 17.” Usher hopped into the post’s comments writing, “Look at what we did.”

Bow Wow has reportedly attended strip clubs regularly throughout his career. In 2019, he was trolled by 50 Cent for allegedly pocketing $1,000 meant for the dancers. Fif recently revisited this accusation, claiming the 34-year-old is still hung up on the incident after he liked a Shade Room post involving 50 Cent’s feud with Madonna.

“I see BOW WOW mad i told everybody he took that money home from that strip club,” 50 Cent wrote. “SMH. Fool that money was for the dancers!” Bow Wow soon replied in the comment section, claiming by engaging with the post he was actually supporting him.

“I liked it cuz u dissed her fool,” he wrote. “if u swipe over its your post.”
