Drake and 21 Savage’s new single “Jimmy Cooks” has gone straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following its release as part of Drizzy’s surprise Honestly, Nevermind album on June 17.
Billboard reports “Jimmy Cooks” racked up 42.2 million streams, three million radio airplay audience impressions and 6,000 downloads sold in its first week, marking Drake’s 11th No. 1 single on the chart and second of 2022 after “Wait for U” with Future and Tems in May. The song serves as 21 Savage’s second No. 1 single following “Rockstar” with Post Malone in 2017.
Both Drake and 21 Savage reacted to the news on their Instagram Stories. “11 11 that stat line is gods work,” Drizzy wrote, while sharing a post about him achieving 11 No. 1 singles and 11 No. 1 albums. 21 Savage added, “Blessings.”

Drake is now tied with Whitney Houston for the seventh-most No. 1 singles of all time (11), with just The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19), Rihanna (14), Michael Jackson (13), Madonna (12) and The Supremes (12) ahead of him.
Honestly, Nevermind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with roughly 204,000 total album-equivalent units. Drake’s now the first solo male to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts at the same time on two occasions, following “Way 2 Sexy” and Certified Lover Boy achieving the feat in 2021.
Elsewhere in the Hot 100 top 10, Drake’s “Sticky” entered at No. 6, with “Falling Back” debuting just behind at No. 7.
Following the release of Honestly, Nevermind, Drake addressed early reactions to his new album at a release party.
“It’s all good if you don’t get it yet,” he said to the camera. “That’s what we do! We wait for you to catch up. We in here, though, we caught up already. On to the next. My goodness!”
