Posted by Gayance will release her highly anticipated new album, ‘roaming’, on October 9th via Tru Thoughts. The acclaimed producer, who was born in Montreal, continues to infuse her sonic landscape with the rich textures of her Haitian-Canadian heritage.
Now based in London, the artist has crafted ‘roaming’ as a testament to her evolving creative process, leaning heavily into a collaborative spirit that brings together a diverse array of guest contributors. The project marks a significant shift in her artistic trajectory, pushing her sound into fresh, uncharted territories.
The album is spearheaded by the new single ‘Podjab’, a track defined by its lucid, elastic funk. The production is further bolstered by the inclusion of acclaimed producer Jarreau Vandal, whose synergy with Gayance is palpable throughout the record. The track’s vibrant energy is rounded out by the contributions of longtime friend and fellow Haitian-Montrealer artist Waahli.
