David Casavant Archive filed the suit claiming Kanye owes the NYC-based stylist over $400,000 with $221,000 accumulated in fees on top of the unreturned garments.
The fashion service alleges Yeezy’s payments stopped hitting their bank account in October 2020 but he continued to keep the items. They’ve been in business with Kanye since 2014 and this is the first issue they’ve run into with the billionaire artist.
TMZ got their hands on the supposed invoice and the list of garments includes a Gucci bomber jacket, Helmut Lang hoodie, Gucci python pants and items from Calvin Klein, Carhartt, Raf Simons, and Dolce & Gabbana.
As far as the payment breakdown for the 13 rare items, it stems from the $221,000 in late rental fees and $195,000 to pay for the missing archival pieces if not returned.
Kanye has kept busy in recent days as he appointed veteran sneaker designer Steven Smith as the Head of Donda Industrial Design this week while also revealing the early designs for the first-ever Donda Foam Vehicle.
