EBK Jaaybo Pleads Guilty to Federal Gun and Drug Charges

Stockton, Calif. rapper EBK Jaaybo, born Jaymani Gorman, has officially entered a guilty plea to federal gun and drug charges. The development, which occurred on Thursday, June 4, marks the conclusion of a legal battle stemming from his arrest in Arkansas last year.

According to court records, Jaaybo pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a machine gun and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. His codefendant, Xavier “Baby Maxx” Jones, also entered guilty pleas to the same charges.

The legal proceedings trace back to a traffic stop in Arkansas in May 2025. During the encounter, law enforcement officials reportedly discovered an illegally modified Glock pistol, approximately five ounces of marijuana, and over $8,500 in cash. While Jaaybo initially faced a broader range of charges—including possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a machine gun in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime—the majority of these were dismissed as part of the negotiated plea agreement.

Further investigation into the seized firearm revealed a connection to a nonfatal shooting involving Bay Area rapper Jarico Anderson, known as DreamllifeRizzy. Reports indicate that the weapon had been used in the incident two months prior to Jaaybo’s arrest, amid an ongoing rap feud between the two artists. DreamllifeRizzy, who has been identified in reports as an affiliate of the San Francisco-based Double Rock gang, later released a track titled “EBK Killer” following the shooting.

EBK Jaaybo is currently awaiting sentencing. The federal charge for possession of a machine gun carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years. Legal representatives for the artist have been contacted for comment regarding the plea.
