Los Angeles, CA – Grammy Award-winning producer Noel Christopher Fisher, better known as Detail, was reportedly arrested on Wednesday (August 5) for multiple sexual assaults. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department website, Fisher is being held on $6.9 million bail.
The 41-year-old industry figure, famous for his work with everyone from Beyoncé and Lil Wayne to Nicki Minaj and Drake, was charged on July 31 with 15 counts of sexual assault and five counts of felony assault between 2010 and 2018. Detectives submitted the case to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office in January.
His attorney Irwin Mark Bledstein told The Daily Mail his client will likely plead not guilty.
“Mr. Fisher was just arrested some hours ago and I have not had an opportunity to speak to him or look at the charges,” Bledstein said by email. “I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations.”

Last year, model and aspiring singer Kristina Buch was awarded $15 million in a L.A. lawsuit that accused Fisher of abuse and rape after he nor his attorney responded to the summons or any other filed documents.
The lawsuit reportedly states Fisher participated in multiple sex crimes against Buch, including sexual harassment, sexual battery, assault, gender violence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Fisher allegedly became “controlling and verbally abusive” toward Buch, telling her she needed to have sex with him and others to “get ahead in the music industry.” He also allegedly called her a “dumb white bitch.”
The lawsuit goes on to say Fisher “viciously and violently” raped Buch on seven occasions. Two of the alleged sexual assaults took place in front of other people. During one incident, Buch said Fisher told another alleged victim Peyton Ackley to record the sexual assault. Buch is one of six women who have publicly accused Fisher of similar allegations.
In 2018, Buch and Ackley’s allegations became public. Subsequently, pop singers Bebe Rexha and Jessie Reyez alleged Fisher had tried to inappropriately approach them as well.
“One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me,” Reyez tweeted at the time. “I was lucky and I got out before it got to this. I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared. Fear is a real thing. The girls that came out are brave as hell.”

Rexha added, “He tried to do the same thing to me when I was new artist. Glad these women came out. It’s scary. He tried to with me, but I literally ran out of that studio. Karma is a bitch.”

Meanwhile, Buch and Ackley were granted a restraining order by a judge that stated Detail couldn’t come within 100 yards of the two women.
In 2015, Detail won a Grammy at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in the Best R&B Song category for co-writing the Beyoncé and JAY-Z hit “Drunk in Love.” The 41-year-old is also behind Ray J’s “Sexy Can I,” Akon’s “I’m So Paid,” Lil Wayne’s “How to Love,” Beyoncé’s “711” and Wiz Khalifa’s “We Dem Boyz,” among others.
