Coi Leray, Blueface & Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi Are Active In The Boxing Gym

Celebrity boxing is becoming a huge hit with fans and it looks like there are some rappers looking to get in on the fun.

Over the last few days, Coi Leray, Blueface and Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi took to Instagram to display their in-ring skills. All three rappers have different skillsets and each one got a different reaction from fans.

In Blueface’s video, the Los Angeles native gets into his zone while punching a pair of hitting pads before turning and smiling at the camera with his pearly white teeth. Fans were quick to comment on Blueface’s skinny body and mediocre punches.

“Mans fighting like a cat with yarn,” one person wrote in the comment section of Akademiks’ repost.

Slim Jxmmi, on the other hand, has been posting videos of himself getting some training in the last several months. But a recent post where Jxmmi asked fans in the middle of his training session if it’s socially acceptable for men to wear nail polish caused a stir amongst fans in his comments.

But it was Coi Leray who blew critics away with her lightning-quick jabs on a punching bag. In her video, the “No More Parties” rapper shows off her impressive form as she goes to town on the weighted bag. People were surprised at how much power Coi was packing in her small frame.

“Crazy thing is she actually throwing her punches with damn near perfect technique,” wrote one person on Coi’s Instagram post.

If any of these three land a spot on a future Celebrity Boxing fight card, they’re prepared to hit the ring. But not before 2021 HipHopDX Rising Stars Toosii and DDG settle their differences with their upcoming matchup.

Toosii Teases Boxing Match With DDG As Celebrity Fight Wave Continues

Toosii put the challenge out via Twitter on Friday (June 18), saying he’s itching to have a match with someone. DDG, who whooped TikTok star Nate Wyatt during their celebrity fight earlier this month, said he wouldn’t get back in the ring unless it was with a rapper. Given their issues regarding DDG’s girlfriend Rubi Rose, both rappers felt it’s a good idea to square up.

“Did somebody say box?,” DDG said to Toosii’s challenge.

Toosii responded, “@pontiacmadeddg let’s set it up.”
