Kanye West hurled a bevy of insults in his mother-in-law Kris Jenner’s direction last month. From suggesting the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch is a white supremacist to insisting she isn’t allowed to see his children, Ye didn’t mince words. He even came up with a nickname for her: Kris Jong-Un.
But now it appears the presidential hopeful to is attempting to make nice. On Tuesday morning (August 11), Ye offered Jenner a compliment, tweeting, “My mother in law Kris Jenner … makes the best music playlist.”

On Monday night (August 10), Ye also admitted he yearned to be on good terms with his Watch The Throne collaborator and former close friend JAY-Z. Alongside a clip of the famous duo performing “Otis” at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, he wrote “Miss my bro … real talk.”

The two Hip Hop titans had a falling out in 2016 and haven’t really spoken since — at least not publicly. During a 2017 interview with Rap Radar, Hov explained what led to their rift.
While Jay confessed they used to routinely argue, he said they always respected each other. But when Kanye mentioned Jay’s wife Beyoncé and their daughter Blue Ivy during his infamous 2016 onstage rant in Sacramento, California, that’s when Hov said he “crossed the line.”
“Think about how I got to that point,” Hov explained. “It’s not even about Kanye. It really isn’t. His name is there, but it’s just the truth of what happened, but I’m sayin’ the whole point is you got hurt because this guy was talking about you on a stage, but what really hurt me is you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it.”
He continued, “Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me a 100 times. He made a song called ‘Big Brother.’ We’ve gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it. Now that’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. He know it’s a problem ’cause me and him would have been talked about it. We would have been resolved our issues, but he know he crossed the line.
“I know him. he knows. He knows … I know he knows because we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many. That’s part of who we are. That’s what I liked about him. He’s an honest person. He’s open and he’ll just say things, and he’s wrong a lot of times, but we’ll confront it.”
Although they briefly interacted at Diddy’s 50th birthday party last December, that appeared to be the extent of it. Jay has gone about his busy life while Kanye attempts to run for president and finish his forthcoming (already delayed) album DONDA.
