On Friday (August 12), Meg dropped her new album Traumazine, and with the release she let her feelings be known about the former MLB star.
“Carl be so mf mad ahhhh haaaa that’s why you can’t make no more money off me,” she tweeted signaling that she was no longer financially tied to 1501.
In a follow-up tweet, she wrote: “I know he over there wiping the shit out that head with that towel cursing hard af.”

The 28-year-old then appeared thrown off by Crawford and the label’s efforts to promote her album while she’s no longer a part of the roster and still embroiled in a lawsuit against 1501 Certified Ent.
“All of a sudden talking bout let me help promote… bitch where you been with the MONEY to promote for the last few YEARS how tf a dumb ass IG story gone help me,” the rapper tweeted.

Megan Thee Stallion hinted at her hand being forced to release Traumazine on Friday after songs were leaked along with her cover art last week.
“I can’t catch a break my label hate me and my shit always leak,” she wrote. “At this point invite the hotties to the studio and shoots.”

Traumazine features assists from Future, Key Glock, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Sauce Walka, Dua Lipa and more.
During an interview with the L.A. Leakers, where she freestyled over Warren G and Nate Dogg’s “Regulate” beat, Megan admitted that she paid Future $250,000 for his verse on “Pressurelicious.”
“I feel like being a woman in the industry, reaching out to a man trying to get a feature is always gonna be a tax,” she said, before explaining the process of how she got Future to do the feature.
“How I went about it was somebody figure out what Future feature price… They were like 250, he want $250,000,” she said. “I was like, ‘Okay, bet. Somebody go pull out $250,000 out the bank and drop it off to Future and tell him I need the verse before he leave.’”
