Los Angeles, CA – Despite rumors COVID-19 could derail Super Bowl LVI, the highly anticipated football game is still a go, and some of the most notable names in Hip Hop are set to make an appearance at various events throughout the weekend.
According to Page Six, LA’s Super Bowl weekend will reportedly feature performances from Machine Gun Kelly, Jack Harlow and even Shaq as his EDM alter-ego DJ Diesel. The NBA legend turned DJ will be bringing his massive “Shaq’s Fun House” event to the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, with VIP tables reportedly going for up to $60,000 and $150,000 for a suite.
There’s also a $1 million package, which features private jet travel and other lavish amenities. Lil Wayne also confirmed via Instagram on Thursday (January 20) he’ll perform at Shaq’s event as well.
“There are too many stakeholders involved in the LA Super Bowl to move it,” one hospitality source told Page Six amid rumors the game could potentially move cities from Los Angeles to Dallas.
